Redeemer Church is a gospel-centered church plant in Jeffersonville, Indiana focused on loving God, loving people, and making disciples.
According to statistics from the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana, Jeffersonville is nearly 70% unreached with the Gospel of Jesus. With a growing local economy and population, the need for a Gospel-centered church became clear. Within walking distance of the downtown area (1.5 miles) there are nearly 20,000 people and at least 15,000 of them do not know Jesus. Our prayer is that God will allow us to reach at least 1% of that population by 2018 and see radical transformation wrought by the Holy Spirit.

This week we will conclude our series through the Pentateuch (the first 5 books of the Bible) by finishing up Deuteronomy. Worship is not just something that we attend on a Sunday morning, but something we do daily because God is just as worthy on a Thursday as He is on Sunday morning. Pray for those people in your life by name, and pray for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus with them - acting obediently and faithfully when those times come, trusting the Holy Spirit with the results.

If you were with us on Sunday at our worship gathering, you heard some rather exciting news about how we are continuing to move forward on mission in Southern Indiana. Beginning the first week of September, we will be adding 2 new Community Groups to our existing 4. Hopefully, this will allow more opportunity for people to get connected and for those groups to obediently go out into those communities proclaiming the Good News of Jesus.
